Location of The Beacon Academy
For the 2009 – 2010 school year the Beacon Academy Grade 9 will be situated on the campus of the Beacon School in Pasong Tamo Extension, Taguig, Metro Manila. In July 2010 the Beacon Academy will transfer to its new and permanent campus.
The campus is located in approximately nine hectares of property in Biñan, Laguna. The site is 30 TO 40 minutes away from Makati, accessed via the Mamplasan exit on the Southern Luzon Expressway. The property features rolling terrain and direct access to a naturally forested waterway. This development option was chosen over a leased city campus as it would better meet the pedagogical goals of the new school, avoid the continuing drain of leasing expenses over time, and set in place the possibility of a boarding scenario in the near future.
